The 57th annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival is adding a new hangout this year. Après Alley, a gathering space at the Top of Main Street, will give festivalgoers a place to grab a drink, eat, and catch live music between browsing nearly 200 artist booths.
The festival runs Friday, August 7 through Sunday, August 9 on Historic Main Street. Hours are Friday 5–9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m.–8 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
What's at Après Alley
The space centers on the Wasatch Stage, which will host local musicians all three days. According to the Kimball Art Center, which organizes the festival, Après Alley will include live music, food vendors, craft beverages, and special tastings throughout the weekend.
The beverage lineup features several Park City names. High West Distillery, the Old Town saloon near the Town Lift, will pour barrel-finished cocktails and whiskey tastings. Old Town Cellars, the Main Street winery at 408 Main, is offering an exclusive Artist Series wine. Moab Brewery will have craft beer, alongside Proverbial Spirits craft cocktails and a Ketel One Vodka Spritz Bar.
Food spans lobster rolls, handmade empanadas, Turkish specialties, Mexican street food, fresh seasonal fare, and traditional pastries. Individual vendor names have not been announced.
The festival's kids' activities page also directs families to Après Alley, noting interactive beverage demonstrations for parents.
Getting there
Friday evening is also Locals Night. Summit County residents get free admission with advance registration at kimballartsfestival.org. General admission is required Saturday and Sunday; ticket prices had not been posted on the festival website as of Friday, July 25. Children ages 5 and younger get in free all weekend.
Parking on and around Main Street is limited. Festival organizers encourage attendees to walk, bike, or ride the free Park City Transit Express bus from the Kimball Junction Transit Center.
Festival context
The Kimball Arts Festival, founded by local artists in 1969, ranked eighth in the nation in USA Today's 10Best Arts Festivals for 2026. This year's festival T-shirt was designed by Elle Donovan, a Park City High School class of 2023 graduate and Young Artists' Academy alumna. More than 300 volunteers help run the event, according to the Kimball Art Center.
