Park City Council will review updates to the proposed Bonanza Park Five-Acre Site redevelopment during a special meeting Friday, Nov. 13, at 10 a.m.
The session will take place in the Marsac Building council chambers at 445 Marsac Ave. Residents can attend in person or virtually, according to the city's public meeting information page.
The review follows a delay in the project's Planning Commission proceedings while developer Brinshore Development revises its plans.
Why the plans are returning to council
Brinshore requested additional time before the Planning Commission's scheduled Oct. 14 review to address feedback on the proposed development.
The city confirms on its Five-Acre Site project page that the applicant requested a continuance to an unspecified future date.
Commission discussions have examined building heights, parking, transportation and design. The commission has not issued a final decision on the project's land-use applications.
According to TownLift's Oct. 26 report, Brinshore said council members had requested an update on revisions before the developer returned to the Planning Commission.
The Nov. 13 meeting therefore offers council members an opportunity to examine the changes while the formal land-use review remains unfinished.
What the development would include
The approximately five-acre property is owned by Park City and sits at the southwest corner of Kearns Boulevard and Bonanza Drive.
The city's current project description lists:
- 106 residential units, including 88 deed-restricted affordable units
- 32,581 square feet of commercial space
- Community green space and public art space
- A child care center
- An underground parking garage
The proposal has drawn debate over building scale, traffic, parking and how much of the publicly owned site should remain open.
Park City selected Brinshore as its development partner in 2025. In March 2026, the council authorized the developer to submit land-use applications for Planning Commission review.
That authorization did not constitute final project approval.
How residents can follow the meeting
The Nov. 13 council session is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at 445 Marsac Ave.
Residents attending in person can park in the China Bridge parking structure and enter the Marsac Building through its south entrance.
The city provides virtual meeting access and information about written public comments through its Public Meetings & Listen Live page.
A date for the Planning Commission's next substantive review of the revised development proposal has not been announced.
