Park Silly Sunday Market is set to return to lower Main Street in Park City for 11 Sundays in 2027, marking the popular street festival's 20th season.

The Park City Council unanimously approved the schedule Oct. 22, following the market's annual review, as TownLift first reported. The city's official meeting agenda identifies the review and 2027 calendar approval as an action item.

Approved 2027 market dates

  • June: 6, 13, 20 and 27
  • July: 11 and 18
  • August: 29
  • September: 5, 12, 19 and 26

The free outdoor market operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on select Sundays, rain or shine, on historic lower Main Street.

The August date preserves a late-summer market weekend that has become part of the annual schedule.

A milestone season

Park Silly Sunday Market began in 2007. Organizers count 2027 as the nonprofit's 20th market season because the usual street event did not take place during the COVID-19 disruption in 2020.

According to the market's official website, the event has welcomed more than 3 million visitors and helped develop more than 175 small businesses over its history.

The market brings together artists, independent vendors, farmers, food offerings and entertainment, transforming lower Main Street into a pedestrian-oriented gathering place.

Residents and visitors can check the official website for updates, vendor information and any changes before the June 6 opening.
