Park City Mountain skiers and snowboarders will find a new Kodiak Cakes Waffle Shack, a traveling S'mores Sleigh and an expanded guided dining experience during the 2026-27 season.
Vail Resorts announced the new offerings Oct. 26, describing them as part of a food-service investment spanning 15 resorts under its Epic Experience initiative.
Three dining additions are headed to Park City Mountain.
A Kodiak Cakes Waffle Shack will open in the Mountain Village base area. The resort is also expanding its Peak to Plate Dining and Skiing Experience, a guided program that takes skiers across on-mountain lodges to sample dishes inspired by each location.
A traveling S'mores Sleigh will appear at surprise locations around the mountain, offering fireside treats.
Menu changes extend across Vail resorts
Beyond the new Park City experiences, Vail Resorts said it is upgrading popular quick-service items across 15 resorts.
Chili, burgers, pizza, fries, hot dogs, chicken strips and macaroni and cheese will receive revised recipes and ingredients.
One example in the company's announcement is a Steakhouse Burger featuring a blended beef patty, American cheese, lettuce and sauce on a toasted brioche bun, served with seasoned waffle fries.
Vail Resorts said the food improvements will not bring price increases beyond normal inflation. Epic Pass holders will continue receiving 20% off eligible dining purchases.
"Great food is a critical part of a memorable day on mountain with some of the best ski day moments happening around the table," Greg Sullivan, Vail Resorts' executive vice president of retail-rental, hospitality and food and beverage, said in the announcement.
The company also plans technology and operational changes intended to shorten food-service wait times and increase lodge seating capacity.
Other improvements planned for winter
The dining changes accompany other investments at Park City Mountain.
In a separate resort announcement, Park City Mountain said it has invested more than $144 million in lifts, terrain, snowmaking, restaurants and other improvements over the past decade.
The new 10-person Canyons Village Skyway gondola and a parking structure at Canyons Village are also part of the resort's plans for the 2026-27 season.
Park City Mountain is targeting Nov. 20 for its opening day, subject to weather and mountain conditions, according to the resort's 2026-27 winter guide.
Vail Resorts said Epic Pass prices will increase after Nov. 15. Skiers and riders ages 13 to 30 are eligible for a 20% discount on Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass purchases.
The company also offers eligible pass purchasers five Epic Friend Tickets for discounted lift access.
