Outbound Park City, a 180-room hotel replacing the former DoubleTree by Hilton/Yarrow at 1800 Park Avenue, is accepting reservations for stays starting April 1, 2027.

The reservation launch, reported by the Park Record on Wednesday, Sept. 30, includes details about two new restaurants, redesigned rooms and an opening promotion. Outbound is a boutique hotel brand owned by real estate firm Waterton.

Matthew Mering, president at Waterton and co-founder of Outbound Hotels, said, "Park City is an exciting opportunity for us to bring the Outbound experience to one of the country's most iconic four-season mountain destinations."

The 4.5-acre property closed in April 2026 for a full renovation. Global asset firm Barings bought the site in mid-December 2025 after previous owner Singerman Real Estate's plan to demolish the hotel and build a mixed-use development stalled. The Park City Planning Commission voted against that project in March 2025 because its proposed 45-foot height exceeded the city's 35-foot zoning limit, KPCW reported.

Outbound Park City is the fourth collaboration between Waterton and Barings. Chicago-based hospitality design firm The Gettys Group handled the redesign, which the company said draws on the Wasatch Mountains for inspiration.

New restaurants and outdoor spaces

Two dining concepts will anchor the property. Billy & Co. is billed as a modern mountain diner with all-day comfort food. June Bar will serve cocktails and spirits in what the company calls a blend of "refined sensibility with the rugged character of Park City."

Mering told KPCW in April 2026 that restaurant-goers at Outbound's existing properties are typically 50–60% local, and that the Park City courtyard would host live music and small events open to community members.

Guest rooms include built-in storage for ski and adventure gear. Two courtyards split the outdoor space: one with a new pool, hot tub and cabanas, and a dedicated après courtyard with fire pits, communal seating and outdoor games. The hotel will also have more than 11,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Opening promotion

Outbound is offering a "Summit Club" deal for stays between April 1 and May 31, 2027. It includes up to 20% off the best available rate, a welcome drink and an opening credit on eligible purchases. The hotel's website also lists a "Third Night Free" offer and a "Utah Neighbor" discount of up to 20% for state residents.

An exact opening date has not been announced. Outbound said additional details will follow soon. Reservations can be made at outboundhotels.com/parkcity.
