Nordstrom Rack opened its new store at Junction Commons in Kimball Junction on Thursday, Oct. 22, giving Park City-area shoppers another option for discounted clothing, shoes and home goods.
The 25,000-square-foot store is located at 6699 N. Landmark Drive. Its opening date and address were confirmed by Nordstrom Rack's official store-opening listing.
The shopping center marked the opening with a celebration beginning at 8 a.m., including a chance to win a $1,000 gift card. Doors opened to shoppers at 9 a.m., according to Junction Commons' event announcement.
The new location sells clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products and home goods. Customers can also pick up online orders from Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack and make returns at the store, according to the company's January announcement.
The Park City location is Nordstrom Rack's fifth store in Utah.
Junction Commons, formerly known as Outlets Park City, is located near Interstate 80 and Highway 224. The shopping center includes a mix of national retailers, restaurants and other businesses.
The Basin News reported in August that Nordstrom Rack had set an Oct. 22 opening date. Thursday's opening marks the completion of that announced launch.
