Deer Valley Resort's fifth annual Mountain Beer Festival returns to Park City on Sept. 19 and 20. More than 20 Utah craft breweries and cideries will pour on the lawn at Silver Lake Lodge.

The two-day festival runs noon to 5 p.m. both days. Guests reach the festival grounds only by riding the Silver Lake Express chairlift. Parking and check-in are at Snow Park Lodge.

A Brewmaster Dinner on Sept. 18 opens the weekend. The multi-course beer-pairing dinner starts at 6 p.m. at Silver Lake Lodge and costs $180 per ticket, according to the resort's Tock listing. The dinner features the top five breweries from last year's festival, chosen by attendee vote, the Boston Globe reported.

The brewery lineup includes Uinta Brewing, Wasatch Brewing, Moab Brewery, Roosters Brewing, Heber Valley Brewing, Athletic Brewing, Talisman Brewing Co., Offset Bier, Chappell Brewing, Second Summit Cider and Mountain West Cidery, according to a post by Park City Vacation on Instagram.

General admission for ages 21 and older is $45, the Globe reported. A $70 Session Package adds three beer-tasting tokens and resort-wide scenic chairlift access. The $155 Imperial Package includes eight tasting tokens, commemorative gear and a VIP barbecue. Guests 20 and under pay $20. Children 2 and under get in free. Non-drinking tickets are also available for those who want the music, food and chairlift rides without the beer.

Food options include Silver Lake Restaurant, Deer Valley Creamery and the Brined & Battered Nashville Chicken Trailer. A Kids Zone offers face painting, cornhole and other activities.

Guests who book the Mountain Beer Festival Weekend Package with at least two nights of lodging between Sept. 17 and 22 receive complimentary scenic lift rides on the Silver Lake Express, Homestake Express and Sterling Express for everyone on the reservation. Festival tickets are sold separately from lodging.

The beer festival is one of several fall events at Deer Valley. The Park City Wine Festival follows Oct. 1 through 3.
