Utah artists can pitch life-size snow globe designs for Park City's annual Main Street holiday tradition through Friday, Oct. 2.
The Historic Park City Alliance and the Arts Council of Park City and Summit County are accepting concept submissions for the Snow Globe Art Stroll, as first reported by the Park Record. The stroll returns to historic Main Street on Thursday, Nov. 26, and runs through Jan. 4, 2027.
This year's theme is "Holiday Lights." Artists are encouraged to incorporate holiday lighting into their snow globe interiors.
The program is open to Utah-based artists and artist teams. Application details are available through the Arts Council of Park City and Summit County.
Ginger Wicks, executive director of the Historic Park City Alliance, encouraged Utah artists to submit concepts, saying their work would provide a backdrop for holiday strolls and shopping on Main Street. "We encourage Utah artists to submit their life-sized Snow Globe concepts," Wicks told the Park Record.
The snow globes line Main Street each winter. Past installations have featured rotating bases and scavenger-hunt elements, though organizers have not yet published full program details for 2026.
An earlier listing in the Park Record on Sept. 11 also mentioned gondola installations at Canyons Village as part of the broader program, but the Sept. 24 announcement focused only on the Main Street snow globes. Whether gondolas return this year is unclear.
The display runs through the holiday season, from Nov. 26 through Jan. 4, 2027.
